The only major appliances not covered by the Premier plan are air conditioners, which are covered by the Premier Plus plan. If you need service, you can make a claim online through your Home Warranty of America account or by calling the company. Home Warranty of America will then contact a licensed technician, who will get in touch with you within one to two days to schedule a service visit.
Each service visit requires a fee, which starts at $75 but may be $100 or more, depending on your contract. The service fee is paid either when service is scheduled or when the technician arrives at your home.
